Skin Care Treatment

Skin Care Treatment / Cosmetology History

Translated from Greek, “cosmetology” (kosmetike) is “the art of decoration”.

Already in Ancient Egypt, various skin, face and body care products were being made. Methods for removing warts and hair are described in detail in a 21m papyrus known as the 'first cosmetology manual'.

The first experts in the field of cosmetology appeared in ancient Greece and were called 'cosmetologists'. Their main occupation was the development of new massage oils, herbal balms. Cosmetologists could be found in public baths, where they provided hair removal services.

Cosmetology was already closely linked to medicine. The luminaries of medical practice of those times, Hippocrates and Diocles, were actively interested in methods of care for the skin, face and body, and left more than one manual on the subject.

The first medical works with serious research appeared already in the Roman Empire. In a textbook developed by Galen, a physician, cosmetics was first officially divided into two categories: medical and decorative.

Avicenna, a prominent medieval physician and scientist, was the first to point out the relationship between the health of internal organs and the condition of the skin. At the same time he proposed methods allowing not only to cure, but also to prevent various skin ailments.

Interest in decorative cosmetics increased dramatically during the Renaissance. The use of arsenic powder and lead white, popular for a long time, had tragic consequences, and by the middle of the 18th century scientists wondered about the safety of cosmetics.

Mass production of both decorative cosmetics and skin care cosmetics began in the 20th century. At the same time, the first salons and hairdressing salons appeared, offering women a standard set of skincare services.

So, what are Skin Care Treatments?

In modern cosmetology, 3 main areas can be distinguished:

classic therapy, hardware techniques and injection techniques.

Injectable methods (such as plasmolifts, mesotherapy, fillers) and hardware methods (such as laser therapy, phototherapy, RF-lifts) have become increasingly popular due to their effectiveness and safety. In the field of radiofrequency radiation and laser therapy, active research is underway.

Let's look at these methods in detail.

Classic Cosmetology

Classical cosmetology is a method of face and body skin care that has long established itself as an effective and reliable means of restoring and prolonging beauty.

This includes procedures such as skin cleansing, cellulite and various aesthetic defects, restoring healthy skin color, and so on. Classic cosmetic procedures are:

Skin cleansing

This procedure is for those who want to always look well-groomed and beautiful. Who wants to have a healthy and radiant complexion. Thanks to facial cleansing, you can get rid of impurities, acne and "black spots" that spoil the face and provoke the development of various infections.

  • Mechanical face cleansing

This is the most common type of facial cleansing. The cosmetologist first cleanses the skin and opens the pores with the help of special procedures and professional cosmetics. Then manually removes comedones ("black dots"). If the formations (pimples) are more complex, the doctor makes small punctures with a thin medical needle so that “closed” comedones can come out without damaging the skin. Traces of such intervention do not remain. Mechanical facial cleansing is the most effective way to remove all impurities from the skin of the face.

  • Ultrasonic face cleansing

this is skin cleansing using a special apparatus (“ultrasonic scrubber”). The device allows ultrasonic waves to penetrate deep into the skin and cleanse the dermis of all kinds of impurities, sebum, comedones and dead cells. This is a completely painless procedure that leaves no visible marks. After the session, the skin will look fresh, clean and healthy.

  • Vacuum face cleansing

This procedure is carried out using a vacuum therapy device. A special nozzle (vacuum tube) draws in all the contents from the previously cleaned pores. The session is absolutely painless, it can be carried out on the skin with large pores (with an average degree of contamination). Such deep cleansing improves blood circulation (due to vacuum massage), and as a result, the complexion. If there are deep pimples or blackheads on the face, then mechanical cleaning will be required in addition.

  • HydraFacial cleansing

is a gentle, non-invasive, comprehensive skin rejuvenation treatment that delivers visible, dramatic results. It includes 3 stages: cleansing, extraction (peeling) and detox (deep hydration and saturation with antioxidants).

Aftercare:

After mechanical cleaning of the face, you should not wash your face for at least 12 hours, you should also not use cosmetics and apply makeup. Within 3 days it will be necessary to wipe the skin of the face with an antiseptic (anti-inflammatory) lotion. It is also necessary to be prepared for the fact that the restoration of facial skin after cleaning (especially mechanical) may take some time - from a day to 2 - 3 days. The main thing is that the result is worth it!

Chemical peeling

is an opportunity to refresh and cleanse the face, even out the relief, eliminate fine wrinkles in just a few procedures. After the sessions, the skin cells will be completely renewed, the face will acquire a beautiful color, smooth and well-groomed appearance.

All chemical peels can be divided into 3 types:

  • superficial chemical peeling - only the epidermis (top layer of the skin) is affected;
  • median chemical peeling - impact on the epidermis and dermis (superficial layers);
  • deep chemical peeling - impact on the lower layers of the skin.

Types of chemical peels:

  • Chemical peeling based on glycolic acid (fruit acid)

is the most common type of superficial peel (affects only the top layer of the skin). Glycolic acid is widely used to solve problems such as: fine wrinkles, enlarged pores, hyperpigmentation, post-acne, increased sebaceous glands. It easily penetrates the skin, where it affects the physiological state of the epidermis. The skin begins to be actively renewed, moisturized, and becomes elastic. Due to this, a beautiful complexion is restored, all nervousness, fine wrinkles and acne disappear.
Due to the superficial effect, glycol peeling requires a minimum rehabilitation period.

  • Retinoic yellow peeling

This is one of the most popular medium peels. The peeling is based on retinoic acid, which has a yellow color. The procedure can be performed on different skin types, recommended at the first signs of aging, hyperpigmentation, and uneven skin surface (scars). Retinoic acid is a fat-soluble acid, an antioxidant. When penetrating into the skin, it affects the epidermis, regulating the processes of keratinization and pigmentation. It restores the intercellular matrix, which is gradually destroyed with age (and as a result, wrinkles appear). One of the features of retinoic acid is that it significantly reduces the level of sebum secretion. As a result of the procedure, blood and lymph circulation in the epidermis improves, the skin is cleansed, restored and acquires a healthy and well-groomed appearance.

  • Milk peeling

This peeling acts on the superficial layers of the skin. It is based on lactic acid, which improves blood microcirculation, provides cell renewal, thickens and moisturizes the skin. Milk peeling is less traumatic and has no side effects. Milk peeling is indicated even for sensitive skin. The skin is smoothed, acquires a healthy, juicy appearance, its tone and elasticity are restored. The antioxidants included in the composition have an anti-inflammatory effect, so the procedure is effective for the treatment of acne.

  • Akne Peeling

this is a professional treatment in the specialist's office using the Acne pack, with subsequent maintenance of the results at home. A broad approach covering the various factors that cause acne can successfully control and mitigate the effects of acne-prone skin: cleansing of follicular channels, reduction of sebum production, control of bacterial growth, reduction of inflammation, reduction of post-acne hyperpigmentation.
If, after the procedures, acne appears again and again, most likely, the reason lies in the improper functioning of the body. Then you need to contact a therapist, gynecologist or endocrinologist. In some cases, a course of antibiotics or hormone therapy helps.

  • Cosmelan Peeling

The Cosmelan depigmentation program is a professional whitening program designed to eliminate pigment spots of melanin origin on the face, neck, décolleté and hands. The program provides a lasting and noticeable result - the elimination of age spots along with a rejuvenating effect, evening out complexion, and improving skin quality. Thanks to the stimulation of cell regeneration and capillary circulation, the skin becomes softer, smoother, radiant, and the natural complexion improves. After a couple of weeks, you will notice improvements in the condition of the skin - age spots will become lighter, the skin will become radiant and even in color.

Skin masks

are the most common facial skin care procedure. In combination with other procedures, the use of professional cosmetics increases the results of the procedure by several times. A pleasant procedure with the use of fragrant preparations will literally “bloom” your skin. The whole secret is in the correct technique of applying cosmetics and in the individual and correct selection of drugs.

There are a huge number of cosmetic masks:

  • cleansing mask;
  • moisturizing mask;
  • nourishing mask;
  • whitening mask;
  • vitamin mask;
  • lifting mask;
  • collagen mask;
  • eye masks;
  • intensive skin care with ampoule serums.

Massage

this is an incredibly useful process. Massage helps to improve blood circulation in the skin and normalize metabolism. Massage stimulates the excretion of metabolic products, which means it helps the skin to breathe and maintain freshness. Thanks to the massage, tissues and muscles are strengthened, the skin becomes smooth, young and elastic. It stretches and gains elasticity.
You can do facial massage yourself, the main thing to consider is that the skin on the face is very sensitive. To achieve the desired effect and get incomparable pleasure from the procedure, it is better to use the services of a professional.

There are  many different types of facial massage:

  • Classical massage

is a pleasant procedure based on light stroking and rubbing. When the skin begins to fade, the muscles lose their tone, sagging, wrinkles appear around the eyes or mouth. To conduct a classic massage, the cosmetologist uses professional products that he selects individually, taking into account the characteristics of your skin (special massage oil can also be used).

  • Plastic massage

rhythmic, at the same time quite strong, but accurate movements along the main massage lines. For its implementation, talc is most often used. A key feature of this method is a special technique for influencing the skin. Plastic massage has a wide impact on the subcutaneous fat, blood vessels, nerves. Improves blood circulation, lymph flow, cleanses the skin and promotes healing. If your skin fades, loses its tone, mimic folds, swelling, double chin appear - plastic massage will help you get rid of these problems.

  • Cryomassage

is one of the most popular procedures in modern cosmetology. This is the so-called local cryotherapy - the treatment of various parts of the skin of the face, body or head with liquid nitrogen. A short, no more than 30 seconds, local effect of ultra-low temperatures on the cold receptors of the skin causes a powerful release of endorphins locally and in the body, stimulating the general immune system and the local skin immune barrier. The cosmetological effect of local cryotherapy is due to increased blood supply (post-cold hyperemia), stress stimulation of lipid metabolism in subcutaneous tissues, and improved oxygen saturation.

Paraffin therapy

is a pleasant, relaxing heat treatment method. The procedure uses liquid paraffin, which has a beneficial effect on the skin. Paraffin - has a high heat capacity. Due to its properties, it perfectly moisturizes and softens the skin, making it literally “velvety”. In the cosmetic procedures of paraffin therapy, various vitamins are also used, which enhance its therapeutic effect.

The paraffin therapy procedure can be carried out for the face, hands and feet:

  • face - helps with problematic skin, with fading, dry or swollen skin. Significantly moisturizes, smoothes, restores tenderness and a beautiful complexion;
  • hands - allows you to get rid of dryness, peeling and cracks. Makes the skin of the hands soft and velvety;
  • feet - this procedure is especially suitable if you have dry, rough skin on your feet. Paraffin therapy will help soften tissues, get rid of calluses, moisturize the skin, relieve swelling and fatigue.

Wrapping or Thalassotherapy

is a pleasant healing of the body with the help of special cosmetics based on natural marine ingredients: algae, sea water, mud, sand, clay, etc. This is a great way to get rid of cellulite, fat deposits, rejuvenate the skin, relax and get real pleasure. .

In thalassotherapy there is a hot and cold wrap:

  • Hot wrap - acts due to the "sauna" effect, which allows active substances to penetrate deep into the skin. During the procedure, blood vessels expand, blood flow increases, and metabolic processes improve. Toxins and slags are removed from the body, the manifestations of cellulite are reduced, the skin becomes smooth and elastic.
  • Cold wrap - vessels, including lymphatic vessels, first narrow and then expand. During the procedure, the outflow of fluid increases, and contrast cooling stimulates the breakdown of fat deposits (due to the generation of energy to preserve heat). After a cold wrap, the manifestations of cellulite, fat deposits and edema are reduced.

Waxing

is a long-term effect of smooth skin. Thanks to the use of wax, you can not think about unwanted hairs for several weeks. And if you carry out the procedure regularly, the effect will increase: the hairs will grow less often, become thin and light.

Hardware Techniques

Hardware cosmetology is rejuvenating and healing procedures that are carried out by qualified dermatocosmetologists using special equipment.

In fact, this is a direction that was formed at the junction of aesthetic cosmetology and physiotherapy. The main advantage of the hardware technique is the ability to significantly improve the condition of the skin without surgical intervention. Doctors and patients are attracted by the good tolerability and wide possibilities of these procedures.

Areas of application of hardware cosmetology:

  • comedones
  • acne and post-acne
  • skin resurfacing and tightening
  • pigmentation
  • face oval correction
  • wrinkle reduction
  • anti-aging changes
  • treatment of dermatological problems
  • cellulite
  • varicose veins
  • contour correction and body modeling
  • weight loss
  • lymphatic drainage
  • elimination of edema
  • stretch marks, scars
  • increased muscle and skin tone

Hardware procedures allow you to adjust the strength and depth of exposure, which means that you can create a program personally, in accordance with the age of the patient and the condition of his skin.

Many hardware procedures have a number of contraindications.

The most common contraindications are pregnancy, oncological diseases, acute infectious diseases and inflammatory processes.

Types of hardware cosmetology:

Mechanical

Brossage

is a procedure that cleanses the top layer of the skin. It uses a special automatic device with rotating nozzles. As a rule, such devices are equipped with a pumice stone, a sponge and various brushes made of natural bristles, rubber or plastic. During the procedure, dead skin cells are removed from the upper layer of the skin, and at the same time a massage is performed. It not only improves blood circulation, but also stimulates the renewal of the epidermis.

Diamond microdermabrasion (peeling)

is one of the modern methods of rejuvenation, which allows you to achieve a pronounced result without serious impact on the skin. This procedure is performed using special coated tips that gently remove the top layer of the epidermis and deeply clean the epidermis. Microdermabrasion is performed on a special machine with nozzles, each of which is covered with small crystals of diamond dust. Depending on the condition of the skin selected nozzle with the required degree of abrasion. In addition, during the procedure, the skin is exposed to vacuum, which improves blood circulation and metabolic processes in the tissues.

Vacuum

Vacuum massage

is a machine-assisted method of body shaping that is effective for reducing cellulite, excessive fat accumulation, swelling and skin laxity. It significantly improves skin elasticity and firmness. During operation, a vacuum is created in the pneumatic massage heads, which creates a suction effect and tightens the skin. This provides a mechanical effect on the deeper tissues, which cannot be achieved by other methods such as manual massage. The effect of the vacuum massage is to improve blood and lymphatic circulation in the area to be treated. The vacuum massage helps the flow of fresh, oxygenated blood to the problem areas and at the same time promotes the outflow of venous blood and lymph. During operation, a vacuum is created inside the pneumatic massage head and the suction effect lifts the skin. This provides a mechanical effect on the deeper tissues that cannot be achieved by other methods, such as manual massage. The effect of the vacuum massage is to improve blood circulation and lymph flow in the area to be treated. The vacuum massage stimulates the flow of fresh, oxygenated blood to the problem areas and the drainage of venous blood and lymph.

Facial vacuum cleansing

is a machine-based facial cleansing procedure that is carried out using a vacuum device. The procedure is exactly the same as a manual facial, but the cleansing is carried out under negative pressure by forcing air through a special nozzle. The advantage of a vacuum facial is that it is completely painless compared to a manual facial, but the disadvantage is that the vacuum treatment is rather superficial.

Ultrasonic

Ultrasonic cleansing

is a machine cleansing procedure that uses high-frequency ultrasound waves. Today, ultrasound is one of the safest, most effective and popular methods of cleansing the skin. It can be used on the face and on other parts of the body such as the décolleté area, the back and neck. The effectiveness of ultrasound cleansing is due to the ability of ultrasound waves to penetrate deep into the skin. By producing a micro-massage, it softens impurities and brings them to the surface.

Ultrasound massage

is a physiotherapeutic massage technique that applies ultrasound waves of a certain length. The power of the treatment depends on the area to be treated and the nature of the problem, and is regulated by the doctor. Ultrasonic body massage stimulates the blood and lymphatic system, increases tissue metabolism, oxygenates the cells and reduces swelling. The effectiveness of the treatment is enhanced by the simultaneous use of cosmetic products that address the problems indicated (scars, stretch marks, scarring, cellulite, fibrous masses, loose or sagging skin, swelling).

Phonophoresis

(sonophoresis or ultra-phonophoresis) is a physiotherapy method that combines the use of medication with exposure to ultrasonic high-frequency waves. This provides an enhanced effect: both the active ingredients of the medication and the ultrasonic waves themselves work. When the ultrasound device touches the patient's skin, vibrations are created, mechanical energy is converted into thermal energy, stimulating regenerative processes. The choice of preparation for ultrasound phonophoresis is individual: the doctor selects the product, the dose and the duration of the treatment depending on the indication. It is used both in cosmetology (scar treatment) and medicine (treatment of intervertebral hernia, arthritis, etc.).

Electrical

Facial electroplating

is a modern method of facial skin restoration and rejuvenation that uses the therapeutic properties of weak electrical currents. It activates metabolic processes, normalises blood circulation and thoroughly cleanses the skin. After the first treatment, the skin heals and becomes fresher and firmer.

Myostimulation

is the procedure of treating muscles with a low-power electric current to strengthen them. The treatment is carried out using special equipment. Myostimulation treatment is used in: body shaping, weight loss, restoration of muscle tone, post-surgery period, correction of facial sagging, wrinkles and dark circles under the eyes.

Electroporation

is a non-invasive skin care method that uses electric current to open micropores and allow therapeutic cosmetics to penetrate deep into the epidermis. After electroporation, the skin becomes lighter and the complexion smoother, wrinkles, scars and blemishes disappear. Electroporation is also used for rapid skin recovery after laser treatments and peels.

Microcurrent therapy

is a skin rejuvenation procedure using low-frequency, low-pulse currents. The gentle action of microcurrents on the skin stimulates protein synthesis, improves cell metabolism and restores facial muscles. The procedure is comfortable and painless as it does not affect the integrity of the skin. Microcurrent has a complex effect - on the skin, muscles, blood vessels and lymphatic vessels, making it possible not only to "mask" age-related changes, but also to rejuvenate the skin at a cellular level. During microcurrent treatment, cells receive oxygen and nutrients and metabolism is improved. In addition, natural collagen and elastin are intensively produced in the skin, increasing skin firmness and reducing wrinkles.

Laser

Photorejuvenation / Lumecca

is an IPL technology that uses a machine that emits high-intensity pulses of light to photorejuvenate the skin and remove age spots and vascular disorders. This minimally invasive procedure can be used to treat a range of aesthetic problems, including brown spots, sun damage, uneven skin tone, rosacea or redness. After just one treatment, patients experience significant improvements in complexion, skin clarity, tone, firmness and elasticity.

Radio Frequency

RF-lifting / Morpheus 8

is a state-of-the-art fractionated RF facelift treatment. Radiofrequency pulses are delivered into the skin using very thin needles. Localised spot heating stimulates the production of collagen and elastin fibres. Unlike other devices, Morpheus 8 provides visible results after the first session, is programmable and has the greatest depth of exposure of all fractional technologies. Micro needle RF-lifting Morpheus 8 has been the most popular mechanical procedure in the USA for several years. Morpheus 8 can help treat a wide range of skin problems, including loss of facial and body tone, facial contour changes, tissue prolapse, wrinkles and drooping upper eyelids, uneven skin relief, large pores, uneven skin tone, vascular disorders, scarring, post acne, stretch marks and sagging skin after pregnancy.

Injection Techniques

Injectable cosmetology is a group of procedures based on injecting preparations through a needle into different layers of the skin

(depending on the type of procedure). The most popular injectable cosmetology services include mesotherapy, biorevitalisation, fillers. Less popular services include plasmolifting and thread lifting. Beauty injections give quick, visible and high-quality results, as the active ingredients of the preparations are delivered to the right layers of the skin and muscles. The injections help to saturate the deeper layers of the skin with the active ingredients of the preparations. This helps to tone, moisturise and rejuvenate the skin.

Injections can be used for:

  • Nourishes and firms the skin, removes pigmentation, dark spots and puffiness under the eyes.
  • Eliminates signs of ageing - deep and fine wrinkles around the eyes, forehead, lips, nasolabial triangle, reduces sagging of the upper eyelids and evens out facial ovality.
  • Corrects facial contours, changes the shape of lips and cheekbones, corrects facial asymmetry and eliminates nasolabial folds.
  • Corrects cosmetic skin imperfections - scars, post-acne effects.
  • Activates the natural rejuvenation process, cell renewal, strengthens the body's immune system, etc.

Injectable cosmetology methods are the following:

Thread lifting

is a minimally invasive form of mesotherapy. It involves making a small incision in the skin and inserting threads of synthetic or metal fibres into the skin. The threads are designed to shape, or rather strengthen, the skin. The effect of this type of facelift lasts for three to four years, so this type of surgery is very common as a way to rejuvenate the face. The advantages of this method are a short rehabilitation period and a relatively low risk of complications. These advantages make the thread lift an interesting alternative to a surgical face lift.

Skin biorevitalisation / Youth Vaccination

is a procedure in which a hyaluronic acid product is injected into the deeper layers of the skin. Hyaluronic acid works like a magnet, attracting and retaining water and preventing the destruction of elastin and collagen fibres. It also activates the skin's own production of hyaluronic acid and triggers the natural cell renewal process. As a result the skin becomes livelier and visibly smoother. Injections can be administered in many areas such as the forehead, the nasolabial folds, the cheeks, the neck, the corners of the eyes, the area between the eyebrows, the neckline and the arms. It is an interesting alternative to surgical rejuvenation because this procedure triggers the natural process of skin rejuvenation.

Intralipotherapy

is a treatment by dissolving fat with a sodium deoxycholate solution. The fat dissolving agent is injected under the skin directly into the fat layer using a special needle or cannula. The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia.

Placentotherapy

is an injection method of rejuvenation, allowing the injection of products based on human and animal placenta into the deeper layers of the skin. Placentotherapy, like mesotherapy, is essentially carried out with spot injections that allow the beneficial substances contained in the cocktail to be specifically delivered to the problem areas. The treatment improves blood circulation, accelerates regeneration and improves metabolic processes in the skin cells. Normalisation of skin respiration allows the cells to be enriched with oxygen, which affects the colour and tone of the skin. The effect is noticeable immediately after treatment, and it increases with the continuation of the treatment. Dehydrated, pigmented skin with the first signs of ageing becomes beautiful, even and radiant after the treatment. If placenta treatment for hair is carried out, density and shine of hair increase, their structure strengthens, curls become more elastic.

Fillers

are products that have the consistency of a gel. They are injected under the skin to smooth out wrinkles, correct the shape of the face or increase the volume of the lips, cheeks and cheekbones. The product fills in the soft tissue and remains in place, giving the desired shape and volume. The effect lasts from 6 months to 1.5 years. The fillers gradually dissolve, releasing beneficial substances that nourish the skin and promote healing and rejuvenation.

Mesotherapy

is the intradermal injection of cocktails containing hyaluronic acid, vitamins, amino acids, micronutrients, lipolytics and peptides. Mesotherapy can be injectable (i.e., beneficial substances are delivered into the skin using ultrathin needles) and non-injectable (device). Mesotherapy effectively eliminates a range of aesthetic concerns - dry skin, pigmentation, fine lines, acne, post-acne, stretch marks, scars and dehydrated skin. The achieved result is preserved for up to 1.5 years.

Ozone therapy

is a physiotherapeutic procedure, which saturates tissues with oxygen, strengthens the immune system, activates the body's defence mechanisms, improves metabolism and relieves pain. Ozone therapy relieves diabetes, asthma, joint and back ailments. It helps prevent seasonal viral diseases. It is used as a disinfectant, including externally, injected into the joints and subcutaneous tissue in pure form and into the bloodstream by mixing with saline and/or the patient's blood. Ozone therapy is widely used in cosmetology. The purpose of using ozone therapy in this case can be the treatment of stretch marks on the skin, reduction of facial wrinkles, treatment of problem skin, elimination of cellulite or excess fat.

Regenera Activa

is a hair restoration method that uses autologous micrografts from the patient's own hair. It is a very effective method of restoring hair growth and density. The Regenera device produces a cell suspension enriched with vascular stromal cells and growth factors. The Regenera Activa method is also used to rejuvenate the face, neck and décolleté.

Salmon DNA vaccine

is a composition derived from the blood and semen of salmon and has been called the elixir of youth. Salmon DNA Serum promotes the production of a polynucleotide substance that forms the basis of the skin and helps cell renewal. The serum contains essential amino acids that are naturally present in human skin but are reduced by environmental factors and ageing.   This vaccine helps the skin regain essential moisture thanks to the saturated hyaluronic acid and the molecules it contains. With the DNA serum, the skin receives a protein boost, whose elasticity is enhanced after this injection procedure and which quickly regenerates.

Skin Care Treaments FAQ

Usually these two types of cleansing are combined for maximum results. However, if the skin is sensitive and has a damaged barrier, the mechanical stage is omitted and only the machine treatment is used. Your doctor will tell you the most effective way to perform the cleansing procedure after an examination.

No! The cleansing process cleanses and revitalises the skin, and with the right home care products, you can forget about impurities and clogged pores.

No! Uneven skin texture and enlarged pores are certain signs of acne or traces of post-acne.

Patients with herpes. In this case, all facial treatments should be postponed until they have healed. In case of severe acne. For these patients, examination and treatment is recommended. Patients with acute chronic diseases.

Unfortunately, no. Home remedies cannot cope with deep impurities. Deep comedones can only be removed mechanically. Even scrubs will not remove comedones, they will only 'blow off' the top of the sebaceous plug - the 'black spot' - and that's it. And in a few days the black spot will appear again. But the right home care and the implementation of all the basic recommendations of the beautician can keep your skin clean for a long time after the cleansing. Vacuum does not cause spider veins. The strength of the vacuum can be adjusted at any time during the treatment. An experienced beautician can determine the required strength immediately after the first treatment by evaluating the skin's reaction. The intensity can be adjusted depending on the area. Where the skin is thin and there is a risk of damage to the blood vessels, the doctor will use a lower vacuum strength. If the patient has several vascular vessels, it is better to choose an atraumatic cleaning method. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)

It all depends on the type of cleansing. But in general, make-up should not be applied immediately after cleansing. This can lead to further irritation, rapid clogging of pores that have not yet fully healed after cleansing, or clogging with microbes from make-up brushes. Ideally, 3 days should pass after the treatment.

Avoid sauna, swimming pool, sunbathing and solarium for 7-14 days, drinking alcohol and using cosmetics, as these can cause undesirable effects.

For couperose, a chemical peel with almond acids is performed every two weeks. It does not damage the surface of the skin. After peeling, acne, rosacea and blackheads disappear. In cases of mild couperose, glycolic peeling can be performed.

Superficial acid peels are usually performed in a course of 5-10 treatments, with a 2-week break between treatments. Thereafter, maintenance treatments may be carried out every 3-6 months. Medial peels are performed once a year in 3-4 treatments. Deep peels are the most severe peels that burn the top layer of the skin. It is recommended that no more than three peels be performed over a lifetime.

A chemical facial peel (exfoliation) is a cosmetic procedure that renews the surface layers of the skin. Weak acids are used to dissolve dead cells and stimulate natural regeneration processes.

Thanks to the skilful movements of the masseur's hands, painful sensations during a facial massage are avoided.

The lactation period is a contraindication for laser hair removal. You can start laser hair removal immediately after breastfeeding ends.

Yes, it is not only possible but even recommended. The combined action on the skin speeds up the desired results: wrinkles are smoothed out faster, the complexion becomes more even and the deeper layers are saturated with moisture.

There are contraindications to these procedures, and they are of a medical nature. They are not for those who suffer from cancer, tuberculosis, diabetes and various circulatory system disorders. The presence of metal implants and cardiac pacemakers is also a contraindication. You should consult your doctor in order to find out for sure whether you can undergo the cosmetic procedure.

The number of sessions is calculated by the beautician individually for each case. The age, body and skin characteristics of the patient influence this number. On average, 6-12 treatments are required in order to achieve the desired result. The specialist prepares the course of treatment in such a way that there is enough time between each session of injections to absorb the components. Mesotherapy sessions are usually repeated every 7-10 days. After the course is completed, injections are administered every 1-6 months to maintain the effect achieved.

The products used in mesotherapy do not contain any synthetic or toxic compounds that can cause allergic reactions. They contain extracts of vegetable and animal origin, groups of vitamins, trace elements, organic and medicinal acids. Such a complex composition has a positive effect on the skin, refreshing and rejuvenating it.

Mesotherapy treatments give good results in the face and neck area. The therapist designs a course based on the patient's current skin condition. Micro injections can be used to slow down the aging process, smooth out wrinkles, remove age spots and acne, get rid of a double chin and make the contours of the face clearer.

Mesotherapy can treat most aesthetic defects on the face and body. It also helps with hair problems. The application of vitamin preparations allows you to cope with dry skin, wrinkles, age spots and acne. Mesotherapy effectively combats fatty deposits, cellulite and skin scars.

Although this method is highly safe, there are still some contraindications to performing it. They include pregnancy and breastfeeding, the presence of malignant tumours, blood clotting disorders, intolerance to the components that comprise the product used, and ischaemic heart disease.

It is not possible. Treatment needs to be carried out on an annual basis. The treatment programme is prescribed individually and all appointments are made by a cosmetologist.

If a teenager has blackheads, acne on the face, certain complexes may form which could interfere with successful studies, relationships with peers, etc. In addition, often small scars are left in place of the acne. Treatment of these scars is extremely difficult and expensive. Therefore, it is better to treat acne in good time.

The difference lies in the composition of the injected products and the number of treatments. In biorevitalisation, hyaluronic acid (1.8-2.0%) is injected. In mesotherapy, a cocktail that also contains hyaluronic acid (0.05 - 0.1%) is used. These 2 methods involve a different number of treatments: mesotherapy - 8-10 treatments at an interval of 1 week, biorevitalization - 2-4 treatments at an interval of 2 weeks to 1 month. The treatment methods, the number of treatments and the medications injected during mesotherapy and biorevitalisation are prescribed individually by the cosmetic surgeon during the appointment.

The beauty of most machine treatments is that they are not only painless but also pleasant, they do not require surgery or a long recovery period!

Using hardware-based cosmetic procedures, you can get rid of fine lines and wrinkles fairly quickly and make deep lines much less noticeable. The following procedures are used for this purpose: photo rejuvenation, laser biorevitalisation, microcurrents, RF lifting (Morpheus 8) and mesotherapy. A significant advantage of such procedures is that the positive effect of their use is seen immediately, after the first session. A more sustainable, long-lasting effect is achieved after a set of procedures (4 to 10 sessions on average).

Yes, cosmetic clinics have treatments available to help you get rid of age spots on your skin. These include fractional laser rejuvenation, photorejuvenation (Lumecca), mesotherapy and microcurrents.

In order to get rid of couperose, cosmetic clinics apply photorejuvenation, micro currents and mesotherapy. It all depends on the area and how strong the symptoms are.

As a rule, the effect of such treatments is quite stable and lasts for two years. Of course, you should not relax and stop taking care of your skin - with active supportive treatments and the use of the right cosmetics, the effect will last even longer.

In this special period of a woman's life, care programmes, masks and massages are worth considering, but aggressive treatments (injections, peels, apparatus procedures) are strictly prohibited.
